Well, hello! I'm Michael Ybarra, and I love all things music. After taking one journalism course, I dedicated myself to KTSW 89.9, Texas State University's student-run radio station, hungry to write about innovative music topics. I've since risen to the role of Assistant Music Director, listening to music reviews, editing journalists' articles, and continuing to write on my own.

Music isn't the only thing I love. My personal style blossomed when I came to Texas State, and I quickly found a community at Lewk Magazine Texas, Texas State's first student-led fashion magazine, first as a model, then as a creative writer. I have been with Lewk since the magazine's inception, and I am privileged enough to hold the title of Executive Editor, leading the writing team for the Fall 2024 semester.
